At FBCP, our mission work is motivated by the words of Jesus:

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.
Just as you did it to one of the least of these, you did it to me.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them.

(from portions of Matthew 25:35-40 and 28:19-20)

Mission Partners

Our church supports a number of different organizations who are committed to caring for those in need, making disciples, and sharing the love of Jesus.

Hands On Missions

Our Hands on Mission team is very active in our community – building wheelchair ramps and handrails, serving meals to volunteer mission groups, helping collecting Christmas gifts for children in our community, and assisting with other special projects throughout the year.

Women’s Mission Groups

Our three Women’s Mission Groups, the Lydia Group, the Roper Group, and the Robinson Group, offer opportunities for fellowship, study, and active involvement in missions. Each group meets monthly and supports mission endeavors of the group’s choice.

Woodchucks

Our Woodchucks ministry meets on Saturday mornings to cut and deliver firewood to people in need in our community.
