Welcome to First Baptist Church of Pendleton!
As we aspire to keep Jesus at the center of our lives, we are Rooted in Faith, and Growing in Love. We endeavor to be a welcoming and affirming community of grace for all people, loving our neighbors because God first loved us.

The featured image “Who Do You Say That I Am?” is a digital painting by Lauren Wright Pittman inspired by Matthew 16:13-20. Our Lenten theme, Wandering Heart · Figuring out Faith with Peter draws inspiration from the hymn “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing” and focuses on stories of the disciple Peter. On this third Sunday of Lent, March 3, we will reflect on the line “praise the mount” and hear the story of Peter declaring Jesus as Messiah in Matthew 16:13-20.
