On Monday, April 3, from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm, FBCP will host a community event offered by United Way of Anderson County. The Resource Roundabout is an opportunity for individuals and families to learn about resources available in the community, such as:
∙ SNAP & Medicaid resources
∙ information for uninsured and underinsured people
∙ healthcare resources
∙ care for survivors of sexual assault and child abuse
∙ cancer care and resources counseling
∙ Veteran’s advocacy
∙ substance use resources
∙ mental, emotional, and behavioral health services
∙ library resources
∙ pregnancy and postpartum support
∙ workforce development
∙ support for foster/kinship families
∙ smoking and vaping cessation
∙ human trafficking resources
In addition, Second Harvest Food Bank will have free food boxes available for the first 200 families; the AnMed mobile mammogram bus will be onsite; and an equine therapist will have two ponies available to learn about equine therapy.
