Senior Adult Ministry meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 9:30 am – noon in the Fellowship Hall. Our volunteers establish a theme for the week and then program activities to go with that theme. The morning typically includes a light breakfast snack and a word search, a devotional led by a volunteer or participant, a special activity such as craft-making, coloring, a travelogue experience, a band, dancing, or whatever the group may enjoy. Most meetings include a game of BINGO. Finally, everyone enjoys a hot lunch served by volunteers. All senior adults are welcome; no reservations are required. If you need a ride, please call the church office at 864-646-3913.
Senior Adult Ministry has been a community ministry of First Baptist Church of Pendleton for over 25 years. Rebranded for 2024, the group meets twice monthly for fun, learning, support, and praying together.
