May 7, 2023 · 10:45 am · Sixth Sunday of Easter ∙ Mother’s Day
Christ is risen. He is risen indeed. Alleluia!

This week’s Scripture text, Acts 17:22-31, reminds us of the importance of starting where we are. The God who created the whole universe is near to each one of us. How is God teaching us? Where might we be missing something God wants to reveal to us? May we worship with faithful attentiveness to God’s presence.

The Call to Worship will be “This Is My Father’s World.” The Response will be “How Great Is Our God.” The Hymn of Praise will be “How Great Thou Art.” Cheryl Patterson will read Acts 17:22-31. The Offertory Hymn will be “For the Beauty of the Earth.” Cheryl Patterson will give the Offertory Prayer. The Offertory will be “For the Beauty of the Earth,” arranged by Carolyn Hamlin. The Sanctuary Choir will sing “Hymn of Promise.” Pastor Jennifer McClung Rygg will preach the sermon “Starting Where We Are.” The Hymn of Response will be “Like a Mother with Her Children.”

The service will be uploaded to YouTube later. Bookmark and Subscribe to our YouTube channel.
