Welcome to First Baptist Church of Pendleton
As we aspire to keep Jesus at the center of our lives, we are Rooted in Faith, and Growing in Love. We endeavor to be a welcoming and affirming community of grace for all people, loving our neighbors because God first loved us.
Throughout the season of Lent, we have been guided by our Lenten theme, Everything In Between – Meeting God in the Midst of Extremes. On Easter Sunday, we find ourselves in between grief & hope. We live in a world full of conflict, loss, and brokenness. Yet our faith reminds us that God comes to us in the midst of all of that and walks alongside us, never leaving us alone. The empty tomb reminds us death is not the end. The worst thing is never the last thing. Hope is still to come.
