Today we offer a special welcome to our guests, Rev. Dr. Romando James, Pastor Anthony Reed, and Patience Dipita, who join us in worship today to express appreciation to the congregation for our support of the Martin Luther King Jr. documentary in March.

The Call to Worship and Hymn of Praise will be “Sing a New Church.” Aniya Webb and Rev. Chris Cottingham will read Acts 10:1-16, 34-35. Rev. Dr. Romando James will give the Words of Greeting. Pastor Anthony Reed will sing “Hero,” and Patience Dipita will sing “His Mercy, Grace, and Glory is For Everyone.” Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will lead the Passing of the Peace. The Offertory Hymn will be “Sweet, Sweet Spirit.” Ted Thomas will give the Offertory Prayer. Richard Reynolds Huss will play “Crown Him With Many Crowns” for the Offertory. The Sanctuary Choir, along with Alexandria Coulter, soloist, will sing “Take, O Take Me As I Am.” Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will preach the sermon “Cornelius, Not Yet a Disciple.” The Hymn of Response will be “For Everyone Born.”
