Season of Creation
We continue our sermon series on the Season of Creation.
This week’s theme, “God on the Side of Justice,” is inspired by Amos 8:1-7.
Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will give the Welcome and Invocation. The Call to Worship will be “Nearer My God to Thee.” Rev. Chris Cottingham will lead the Passing of the Peace. The Songs of Praise will be “Shout to the Lord” and “Glorify Thy Name.” Ian Coulter will read Psalm 113. The Offertory Hymn will be “You Are My All In All.” Alexandria Coulter will give the Offertory Prayer. Richard Reynolds Huss will play “Nearer, Still Nearer” for the Offertory. The Sanctuary Choir will sing “Beside the Still Waters.” Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will preach the sermon “God On the Side of Justice,” incorporating Amos 8:1-7. The Hymn of Response will be “Let Justice Flow Like Streams.”
