What is growing in your spiritual life during this season of Lent? This is a season of tending the soil, nurturing new growth, and preparing for the good news to take root and flourish.
Throughout the Lenten journey, may we be grounded in and inspired by the Good News.
Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will give the Welcome and Invocation. The Call to Worship will be “Panis Angelicus.” Rev. Chris Cottingham will lead the Passing of the Peace. The Song of Praise will be “There’s a Wideness in God’s Mercy.” Dale Chandler will read John 8:2-11 and Matthew 23:23. The Offertory Hymn will be “On Eagle’s Wings.” Dale Chandler will give the Offertory Prayer. Richard Reynolds Huss will play “Bist du bei mir” for the Offertory. The Sanctuary Choir will sing “Offertory.” Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will preach the sermon “An Example…in the Mirror” and lead the Pastoral Prayer and the Lord’s Prayer. The Hymn of Response will be “Grace Alone.”
