Welcome to First Baptist Church of Pendleton
As we aspire to keep Jesus at the center of our lives, we are Rooted in Faith, Growing in Love, and Welcoming to All. We endeavor to be a welcoming and affirming community of grace for all people, loving our neighbors because God first loved us.
May 31, 2026 · 10:45 am · First Sunday after Pentecost
When the people grew tired and hungry during their long desert wanderings, they grumbled and complained, and God responded. God generously provided for their needs by sending an abundance of…thin flakes like frost, white like coriander seed, tasting like wafers made with honey.
“What is it?” they asked. And this became its name: Manna.
Sometimes God’s provisions are not what we expected. May we recognize God’s abundance even in seasons of change and uncertainty.
