Looking for an out-of-this-world break in the middle of the long, summer weeks? Stellar, a space-themed VBS, will be hosted at First Baptist Church of Pendleton each Wednesday evening beginning June 7 and running all summer long (except no VBS on July 5) until August 16, from 6:30-7:30 beginning in the Fellowship Hall. VBS is free of charge. As always, we have Wednesday night supper at 5:45 for $4 per adult and $2 per child, which you can register for in advance. (If financial need would prevent families from attending dinner, please let us know and we can waive the cost.) You can make a Wednesday Night Supper Reservation here.
At Stellar, kids discover how they can shine Jesus’ love and hope in everyday life! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, experience one-of-a-kind Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of Jesus’ light, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them.
Stellar is for kids from 3 to 12, with all ages beginning together and separating into groups later on. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Kiley at children@fbcpendleton.org.
