Welcome to First Baptist Church of Pendleton
As we aspire to keep Jesus at the center of our lives, we are Rooted in Faith, and Growing in Love. We endeavor to be a welcoming and affirming community of grace for all people, loving our neighbors because God first loved us.

The text for Sunday, April 28 is Luke 24:36-48 and the sermon title is “Eating with Ghosts.” This is part of our Easter sermon series, “Belong, Behave, Believe.” This series explores what it means to be a part of the community of faith. Often, churches have invited people into community by encouraging them to first believe, then behave, then belong. Yet Jesus’ interactions with people often suggest that we have a place of belonging even BEFORE we believe or behave. As we continue to celebrate the resurrection of Christ, may we experience the gift of belonging as we continue to grow in our faith.
