Seeking: Honest Questions for Deeper Faith
Throughout the season of Lent, we have heard questions from Scripture. These questions have reminded us of the sometimes surprising ways in which God works in the world. Today, we ponder the final question of this series: Who are you looking for?

As we prepare to celebrate Easter Joy, we first remember the darkness of the crucifixion and the tomb. As the candles are lit, we remember light breaking through the darkness, and we will sing the anthem “Thy Will Be Done.” Rev. Chris Cottingham will lead the Call to Worship. The Hymn of Praise will be “Low in the Grave He Lay.” Richard Baldwin will read John 20:1-10. The Children, Youth, and Sanctuary Choir will sing “Because He Lives.” The Offertory Hymn will be “Christ the Lord is Risen Today.” For the Offertory, Rev. Chris Cottingham and Richard Reynolds Huss will perform a piano and organ duet of “Hallelujah, What a Savior!” The Sanctuary Choir will sing the anthem “The Great I AM.” Kiley Daniel will read John 20:11-18. The Sanctuary Choir will sing the anthem “Behold the Lamb.” Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will preach the sermon “Who Are You Looking For?” The Hymn of Response will be “Crown Him with Many Crowns.”
