Sermon Series: What Is Christian Faith?
What is Christian Faith? What does it mean to live faithfully? What are the key elements of a faithful life? The last few chapters of the book of Hebrews offer a summary of the essentials of Christian faith.
In Hebrews 11:1-16 we see examples of how Faith is…ACTION!
Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will give the Welcome and Invocation. The Call to Worship will be “Just As I Am.” Rev. Chris Cottingham will lead the Passing of the Peace. The Hymn of Praise will be “All Praise to Thee.” Becky Milam will read Hebrews 11:1-16. The Offertory Hymns will be “Make Me a Servant” and “The Potter’s Hand.” Becky Milam will give the Offertory Prayer. Richard Reynolds Huss will play “How Firm a Foundation” for the Offertory. The Sanctuary Choir will sing “Behold Our God.” Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will preach the sermon “Faith Is Action.” The Hymn of Response will be “Here I Am, Lord.”
