The Call to Worship will be “People Look East.” Carla, Beth, and Katelyn Brewer will lead the Lighting of the Advent Candle. The Advent Hymn will be “Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence.” Rev. Chris Cottingham will read Luke 1:24-45. The Carol of Peace will be “It Came Upon the Midnight Clear.” Cheryl Patterson will give the Offertory Prayer. Richard Reynolds Huss will play the Offertory “Of the Father’s Love Begotten.” Cheryl Patterson will read Isaiah 40:1-11. The Sanctuary Choir will sing “Christmas Joy.” Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will preach the sermon “Peace for a Weary World.” The Hymn of Response will be “Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming.”
