with special pre-service music beginning at 4:30 pm
Joseph Reed will sing “I Wonder As I Wander” for the Call to Worship. The Rygg Family will lead the Advent Candle Lighting Liturgy. Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will pray the “Prayer for Illumination” and read Luke 2:1-20. Grace Ammons will sing “O Holy Night.” Before Communion, Rev. Jennifer McClung will offer the Reflection “You Are Invited,” and Rev. Chris Cottingham will sing “Noel.” Traditional favorite carols will be sung, including “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” “Away In a Manger,” “Angels We Have Heard on High,” and “Silent Night, Holy Night.” Richard Reynolds Huss will play the traditional French Christmas carol from the 17th century, “Bring a Torch, Jeanette, Isabella,” for the Postlude.
