On the first Sunday of January in 2020, FBCP entered into an Encourager Church Covenant with Rick Burnette, CBF Field Personnel in Immokalee, Florida. Rick and Ellen’s work through the non-profit they founded in 2017, Cultivate Abundance, focuses on community-level food security efforts. Rick and Ellen Burnette will be our guest preachers today, as they talk about their ministry and “Loaves and Fishes, Fruit and Vegetables, and Results that Matter.”
Rick Burnette will read John 6:1-14. Ellen Burnette will give the Offertory Prayer. Richard Reynolds Huss and Rev. Chris Cottingham will play an organ/piano duet of “David’s Royal City” for the Offertory. Rev. Chris Cottingham will sing “A Light Shall Shine” as a solo.
