The Call to Worship will be “We Praise You with our Minds, O Lord.” The Song of Praise will be “How Majestic Is Your Name.” Kim Burgess will read Psalm 8. The Offertory Hymn will be “O God Beyond All Praising.” Dave Alverson will give the Offertory Prayer. The Offertory will be a piano and organ duet of “The Majesty and Glory of Your Name,” performed by Rev. Chris Cottingham and Richard Reynolds Huss. Testimony will be given by Pam Willoughby. The Sanctuary Choir will sing a medley of “Lord, I Need You” with “I Need Thee Every Hour.” Pastor Jennifer McClung Rygg will preach the sermon “From the Cosmos to Daily Life: God Is Love” and will read Mark 12:28-34. We will have the Ordination of Shelby Quattlebaum as a Deacon and a blessing for all Deacons serving in the 2023-2024 church year. The Hymn of Response will be “Share His Love.”
