Welcome to First Baptist Church of Pendleton!
a welcoming and affirming community of grace for all people
Rooted in Faith and Growing in Love

November 13, 2022 · 10:45 am · Twenty-third Sunday after Pentecost

This Sunday, we resume our fall sermon series on What Disciples Do. Isaiah 65:17-25 envisions “new heavens and a new earth.” What will this new creation be like? How can we work towards this vision, here and now? As we worship together as a community of disciples, may we be strengthened and inspired to do the Kingdom Work God has called us to do.

The Call to Worship will be “Our Father, Who Art in Heaven.” The Invocation in Song will be MaLotte’s “The Lord’s Prayer,” sung by Rev. Chris Cottingham. Kiley Daniel will read Isaiah 65:17-25. Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will give the Offertory Prayer and lead The Lord’s Prayer. The Sanctuary Choir will sing the anthem “Here Am I.” Pastor Jennifer McClung Rygg will preach the sermon “Working for the Kingdom.” The Hymn of Response will be “Let Truth and Mercy Find Here.”

The service will be uploaded to YouTube later. Bookmark and Subscribe to our YouTube channel.
