All Saints Sunday
Today we remember those from our church family who have departed this earth for eternal life within the past year. As each name is called, a candle will be lit in their memory. As we remember them, we remember how the light of Christ shone in each of their lives.

Eunice Rowell  ∙  Wayne Patterson  ∙  Judy Gossett  ∙  Annette Whelchel  ∙  Charles Myers  ∙  Aileen Loyd

After these names have been called, the congregation will be invited to light candles while naming saints in their own lives. Those worshiping online are encouraged to light a candle at home. The light of these candles reminds us of the people of faith who have gone before us and who form our great “cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1).

Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will give the Welcome and Invocation. The Call to Worship will be “Solemn Melody.” Dale Chandler will read Ephesians 1:11-23. Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will lead the Time of Remembrance and Lighting of Candles. The Hymn of Praise will be “For All the Saints.” Rev. Chris Cottingham will lead the Passing of the Peace. The Offertory Hymn will be “There’s a Land That Is Fairer Than Day.” Dale Chandler will give the Offertory Prayer. Richard Reynolds Huss will play “I Sing A Song of the Saints of God” for the Offertory. The Sanctuary Choir will sing “For the Saints.” Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will preach the sermon “The Power of Hope” and lead The Lord’s Prayer. The Hymn of Response will be “In the Bulb.”
