Season of Creation
We continue our sermon series on the Season of Creation.
This week’s theme, “Stubborn Hope,” is inspired by Jeremiah 32:1-15.
Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will give the Welcome and Invocation. The Call to Worship will be “10,000 Reasons.” Rev. Chris Cottingham will lead the Passing of the Peace. The Songs of Praise will be “As the Deer” and “On Eagles’s Wings.” Kitty Alverson will read Psalm 91:1-6, 14-16. The Offertory Hymn will be “Since Jesus Came Into My Heart.” Dave Alverson will give the Offertory Prayer. Richard Reynolds Huss will play “O God Our Help in Ages Past” for the Offertory. The Sanctuary Choir will sing “Creation Will Be at Peace.” Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will preach the sermon “Stubborn Hope,” incorporating Jeremiah 32:1-15. The Hymn of Response will be “View the Present Through the Promise.”
